The abbreviation B2C stands for Business-to-Consumer. It describes a business model that differs from its counterpart B2B (Business-to-Business) in that it exclusively focuses on relationships between companies and private individuals. Common B2C industries include e-commerce and retail. However, a strict distinction is not always possible due to overlapping areas. For example, a training services company may offer both executive seminars and courses for private individuals, making it difficult to completely separate B2C from its opposite model.
