What is a container?

A container is the generic term for anything that contains something, in which something can be stored or transported. A container is available in a wide variety of materials, designs and sizes. Containers can be used to store food or liquids. Other containers hold gaseous substances or objects. Containers are just as suitable for bundling specific groups of goods as they are for storage and order picking.
