What is meant by the term voice-guided picking?

Voice picking is a paperless picking method that uses voice commands for communication. The employee receives spoken instructions via a headset and device. The software translates system data into spoken commands, and vice versa. The key advantage is that workers can keep both hands free, making them more productive. This is especially useful in cold storage environments, where using keypads or touchscreens is impractical. Inventory changes can be made and recorded entirely via voice input, without needing screens or keyboards.
