The 5‑day LFS Supervisor Course teaches the fundamental concepts, standard processes, and typical special processes in LFS. After completing the course, participants can work confidently with the system, understand the basic “way of thinking” in LFS, and perform initial simple troubleshooting on their own.

Navigate the LFS interface and execute standard processes confidently.

Map and execute key warehouse standard processes in LFS (e.g. goods receipt, putaway, picking, loading, returns and cancellations).

Understand and apply selected special processes such as two‑step work packages and cross docking in LFS.

Perform initial error analysis and basic troubleshooting independently.

Understand the fundamental “way of thinking” in LFS and transfer it to new situations.

Module 1: Introduction, Basic Concepts and Warehouse Mapping

  • Role of LFS in warehouse logistics 
  • System navigation: screens, menus, fields, and basic functions 
  • Key terminology for: locations, storage bins, items, orders, tasks, stock 
  • How LFS represents storage locations, items and transport equipment 

Module 2: Inbound Processes – Putaway Transports and Quality Assurance

  • Staging locations as general concept  
  • Generating purchase orders and editing putaway information 
  • Creating putaway transports  
  • Quality assurance 
  • Options for completing transports 
  • Exploring putaway options, e.g., single transports and transport lists 
  • Troubleshooting for transports (e.g., breakage) 

Module 3: Maintaining Inventory

  • Master data for item and storage locations 
  • Changing inventory modules 
  • Relocation of inventory 
  • Accounting for breakage 

Module 4: Outbound – Picking and Packing

  • Standard picking with scanner 
  • Multi-order picking and pick route optimization 
  • 2-stage work packages for further optimization of pick paths and picking times 
  • Mandatory paths and instructions for picking and packing 
  • Exploring packing options in LFS 

Module 5: Loading and Returns

  • Loading overview 
  • Exploring loading options  
  • Expediting loading: Master packages 
  • Booking cancellations returns in LFS
