Module 2: Master Data Setup for Returnables

  • Item master data for returnable items (item types, units, specific attributes)
  • Specific storage locations/areas for pooling, deposit, or repair
  • Keys and basic settings that influence how returnables behave in processes

Module 3: Process Integration – Inbound & Outbound

  • Handling returnable items on goods receipt (e.g. pallets with deliveries)
  • Recording and tracking outbound returnables (e.g. pallets delivered to customers)
  • Linking returnable movements to customers, suppliers, or carriers
  • Simple examples of how returnables show up in standard WMS flows

Module 4: Returns, Exchanges & Corrections

  • Recording the return of pallets/containers from customers or carriers
  • Handling exchanges (e.g. swap pallets) and special scenarios
  • Correcting incorrect entries and adjusting balances when needed

Module 5: Evaluation, Control & Best Practices

  • Viewing returnable balances by partner (customer, supplier, carrier, site)
  • Identifying discrepancies and typical error patterns
  • Best practices to avoid losses and keep balances clean (process tips, user routines)
  • Q&A and consolidation of key concepts
