With its major seaports, the Benelux region is one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs, placing high demands on the interaction between warehousing, transportation and technology. EPG (Ehrhardt Partner Group) sees significant further growth potential in precisely this close integration and is strengthening its presence in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The aim is to provide companies in the region with the best possible support in digitalising their logistics processes through integrated warehouse and transport management software solutions, while further intensifying direct dialogue with businesses.

The expansion of EPG’s regional activities comes at a time of significant change in the logistics market. Companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg need to manage rising volumes, labour shortages and cost pressures while meeting increasingly demanding requirements for speed and flexibility. As a result, they are investing more heavily in robotics and automation. At the same time, companies are holding higher inventory levels within the region to mitigate the impact of global supply chain delays. This is driving demand for solutions that connect warehousing, transportation, workforce and automation.
Integrated solutions for evolving requirements
With its solution portfolio, EPG addresses the growing requirements of the Benelux market. The EPG ONE™ Supply Chain Execution Suite, for example, supports the management of warehouse processes and the integration of automation technologies. LYDIA Voice enables voice-directed picking, while the Transport Management System optimises route planning. EPG AURA uses artificial intelligence to make information from different systems directly accessible within operational workflows. Looking ahead, the interaction between AI and robotics is expected to become increasingly important. In transportation, the electrification of vehicle fleets is also creating new requirements for planning and optimisation.
To support companies in the region, EPG can also draw on an established local market presence. Groenewout, part of the globally operating EPG group, has more than 60 years of experience in the planning, optimisation and automation of logistics operations. Groenewout continues to advise companies independently and on a vendor-neutral basis. EPG complements this regional expertise with its comprehensive software portfolio for Warehouse, Transport and Workforce Management. Companies across the region therefore have access to both in-depth consulting expertise and powerful technology solutions, which can be deployed according to their individual requirements.
EPG strengthens regional customer support
With the appointment of Jan-Peter Schraagen as the new Sales Manager Benelux, EPG is further strengthening its local presence. The logistics technology expert brings more than 20 years of industry experience and previously held positions at Transporeon and Generix Group. In his new role, he will deepen existing customer relationships, serve as a direct point of contact and intensify EPG’s dialogue with companies throughout the region.
“The logistics operations of the future will increasingly be shaped by intelligent, connected systems in which artificial intelligence, automation and human expertise work together. We are only at the beginning of this development. This makes close dialogue with companies all the more important, enabling us to understand their challenges and support them in the long-term development of their logistics operations,” says Schraagen.
